The Norwegian iGaming community has been hit with another payment shake-up, echoing the MuchBetter collapse from two years ago. Popular providers Incharge and Blixtpay have suddenly shut down after their backbone provider, Intergiro Intl AB, lost its license to issue electronic money.

The decision came from Sweden’s Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and took effect on June 18, 2025. While the closure caused immediate disruption, existing customers appear to have received their outstanding funds.

Authorities deemed the violations too severe for fines or warnings. Instead, Intergiro’s license was revoked immediately, forcing the company to shut down its payment services altogether.

From Trusted Apps to Empty Shells

Both Incharge and Blixtpay depended on Intergiro’s infrastructure. With the license gone, the apps effectively became non-functional overnight.

For Norwegian casino players, this means no more deposits or withdrawals via these platforms—once valued for their speed and zero fees. Interestingly, the apps remain available for download on Google Play and the Apple Store, though they no longer serve any purpose.

Last Chance to Retrieve Your Money

Although the license has been revoked, regulators have allowed a short grace period for withdrawals via SEPA transfers. This option will remain active until September 19, 2025, but Intergiro has warned it could close earlier as the company winds down operations.

⚠️ Advice for users: Withdraw your money as soon as possible. For smaller balances, the Incharge Services VISA card may still work as a backup option.

More Payment Options for Players

With Incharge and Blixtpay gone, Norwegian players will need to adjust. The good news: several reliable alternatives are already on the market, including:
